On February 27, 2025 (after being renewed for a new 5-year round in Sept. 2024), the program was abruptly cancelled by the Second Trump Administration; along with thousands of USAID – funded awards (a partial list of cancelled awards can be found here).
In the effort to continue the work done in 5 years of partnership (and keep amazing students and collaborators), the team is currently re-purposing and re-submitting ideas to alternative donors.
